Supplemental #8 | June's recipe roundup
What's been cooking in the papers and online over the last month?
This is #Supplemental — my monthly roundup of the most intriguing recipes in the UK’s weekend newspapers, plus a smattering of the millions of things posted online. It’s one of five alternating columns published here on Rocket & Squash. Through June, subscribers received posts containing recipes for wholesome family food (in the shape of mixed grains with spiced tomato-braised greens), a trio (and a bit more) of superb tomato-based sides; a selection of Good Things, including comfort food from a new cookbook, and thoughts on high end dining; plus a truly mega Strawberrymisu. Do have a browse.
If you like what you see, or have been a reading for a while, please consider becoming a paid subscriber. It’s £5 a month/£45 a year, and for that you have unrestricted access to all new recipes, the archive of posts, cookbook giveaways, and, ultimately, you support this publication’s existence.
